LIBRARY

Central Library occupies a place of pride in ECD College and is an essential component of the college’s education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship. The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.
The College has spacious Central Library spanning a total floor area of about 1500 sq ft. combining aesthetics with utility, the modern Library houses about 3053 books, subscriptions to over 7 journals/ magazines & one E-journals and 942 titles. The Library comes with provision for modern facilities including Stock Section, Reference Section, and Issue Section with advanced computers and other peripherals.
The Reference section is complete open access. This section is available for reference purpose between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on all working days and close on Sundays and on Holidays. Xerox facilities are available to enable readers to take photocopies.
The Library reading space can accommodate nearly 70 students. Separate reading space is available for staff and students.
